My son's 3G took a plunge a couple of weeks ago. We put it in rice and let it sit for a week. It's dead. Is there any value for a dead 3G for parts? I wouldn't mind parting it out, but I really hate to get rid of the entire phone because if someone ever did get it back operational his contacts, emails, etc would be able to be accessed.
Is it worth anything at all? Seems like the screen and case could be worth something. Otherwise, it's hammer time.
