    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if one of the wizards here could help me out with some advice. I'm Australian and will be in the United States for 6 weeks in March/April. I have an iPhone 4 and would love to be able to have it set up with a US number and data connection when I'm there.

I run an online business so getting data is crucial. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? Money isn't really an issue - but if I can do it cheaper than the thousands (literally) it would cost to use roaming data, I'll be really happy.

Has anyone done this or anything like it before?

Details: My iPhone 4 is with Vodafone in Australia. I bought it unlocked directly from the Sydney Apple store, paid cash (no contract plan).

    I appreciate any tips!

Since AT&T is currently the only US iPhone ISP, you should contact them online. Presumably you need a new SIM and phone number.
