Sounds to be like you might somehow have gotten the OS corrupted during the update, make sure it's backed up and restore it and restore it from the backup and see what happens, that's what I'd inevitably end up doing before i took it to Apple, which they'll probably do the same thing I told you, so might as well beat them to the punch and do it, and if it keeps up, maybe it's a fluke hardware issue and get a new i4 from Apple
