Hi everyone, I currently own an iPhone and would be getting an iPad once the new one gets out. I was wondering if I could insert my sim card in my iPad and benefit from my unlimited data plan without AT&T getting on my back, as I am planning on using a VOIP service on my iPad to make and receive calls.

Thanks for your insight.

not really see. ipad uses micro sim cars and iphone uses standerd sim card. now you can replace or cut your own sim card to size in order to use it in the ipad but the u can't use it back in the iphone.

no you can't interchange the two. I'm in Canada and there are some carriers that allow you to share the data plan between the two devices but they use their own microSIMs.

Would seem like the microsim would work to me but I don't have an iPad. It is a real pain to get the microsim to work in my old 3G iPhone though...
