slide bar not opening phone

for some reason my slide bar will not open the phone to answer calls when someone is calling any ideas ?

Have you ever had water damage?

no, its brand new recon phone only had it 3 days !

Take it back...ask for another one. It may have had damage to the screen, the no responsiveness is something id be concerned with. Every person ive ever known that had that issue had water damage, so its possible that was a water damaged phone that was reconditioned and sold back to you...not saying that IS the issue, but could be. Either way, take advantage of the warranty and eliminate the worry of future incidents all together.

i think i will do shaun to be honest it only works to answer the phone when it feels like it. probably 1 times out of 6. and its been like that since day 1. but once your in the phone it works perfectly. more often than not when its in lock screen, you have to push the power button then slide to open it.

No reason to stress the issue there, just get another one.
