I am looking at a bing map in safari on the iphone but can't reposition the map to show different areas.

In my computer I just click and hold on the map to move it around.

On the iphone if I touch and hold the map and move it the whole page moves.

Can somebody tell me how to reposition the map.

    Thanks.

Reposition how? It works the same as on the computer. Except on the iPhone the map is the entire page, so it moves, instead of the map being in a smaller box in the window with controls on the sides.

This is for maps that are in windows on a website. Take a look at the image I captured on the iPhone.

I see that it says there is an attachment but there is no attachment there. Your pic did not upload correctly it looks like. The field is blank.

Edit - Ok I just switched browsers and now it's there. Not sure what is up with firefox lately. Your image is very small though, from what I can make out it looks like that is just an image from Bing bird's eye view and not a live map embed. Is that in Safari? What website?

When I actually go to maps.bing.com I can move them around but other websites that embed maps in a windows putting your finger on it does not allow you to move the map, it just moves the entire page.

Click on this link on your computer. Available Real Estate in Norwalk, CT - Norwalk Homes for Sale Search - Realtor.com

When I show the map I can click on hold and drag. On the iphone when I show the map if I touch and drag the entire page drags not the map.

Yea it looks like the live embed of Bing maps just doesn't work with Safari on iPhone.

    Tap, hold and drag perhaps?

I like Bing maps. I love the birds eye view. Even the map view is more pleasant then Googles beige and yellow.
