You need iTunes 10.1 to be released as well. Also, 10.6.5 must also be released for AirPrint capabilities.

You can never figure out Apples reasoning behind these kind of releases. I have a feeling it's coming in the next few days.

My bad. You are correct. 10.0.1 is what's running and currently available from Apple. You can google "10.1 Beta" and there are links out there which will allow you to download & install the Beta.

Tuesdays are - as a rule - the days. But there are new carrier bundles ready (found on Apple servers) for two German carriers stating the date of Nov 12th. It is like reading the stars. Be sure to have the update within a fortnight, comprising 10.6.5, iTunes 10.1, and iOS 4.2, in that order.

Yep, you need 10.1 to install the GM. on windows 7 64-bit it crashes when I try to reorganize apps on my ipad within itunes.

I also have 4.2 gM installed on my ipad, but its still a bit buggy. Wifi keeps knocking me off. Hopefully the final will fix it,

I typically would agree with that statement however it seemed believable based on the fact the OS needs an update for DST and today is that day.

Either we wont get all these releases on the same day or something horrible is about to happen. Can you imagine how slow the Apple servers will be if they release these things all at the same time? There's one more update to add to the list, the AppleTV update to enable AirPlay video.

My prediction is we wont see 4.2 for another week or two. I hope they release the AppleTV update first tho as I already have 4.2 GM installed.

Plus they have to work out all the bugs that are in 4.2 like thew wifi issue. (3.2 also had a wifi issue, untill the 3.2.1 fix)

One thing I noticed on my iPad running 4.2 is, when the battery reaches 20%, it doesn't tell you, let alone show up in red. It seems only to do that once it reaches 10%

Good idea or bad? Personally I think 15% would be the better number.
