hello , my iphone 4's typing click keeps changing volume ??

$10 your finger is partially covering the speaker from time to time. I do it all the time.

nope , i know what you mean though but this aint the same , iv taken the case off and made sure , it chances every 20 click or so ,

If you're playing music, the music takes priority over the typing sounds. So if the music is loud, the typing sounds will be inaudible.

I have this same thing happen. There was another thread here about it. What I notice is when I am in a SMS conversation, when it makes the swoosh tones for sending or receiving messages, the keyboard clicks are louder.

That is when I notice it.

I know what totalimmortal is talking about also. That would happen all the time when I used the bumper case.

I think what he is telling you is that there is nothing wrong with it.

Even my 3gs did that. You do not have a faulty phone.

Yours may be doing it for a different reason. That is when I notice mine doing it, I don't feel there is anything wrong with mine.
