Hi all. I have a brand new iphone 4 running 4.0.2 and as there is no current jailbreak for it should i update to 4.1? Also if a JB comes out in the future will it be for 4.0.2, or both 4.0.2 and 4.1? Many thanks, Flax

4.1 provided many legitimate upgrades to the iPhone, the HDR camera option, which to me was worth removing the jailbreak for, being the major addition and game center which is becoming better every day as games are added.

So IMO, yes...it's well worth it, and the future jailbreak will be for the current update only, there will not be a jailbreak for 4.0.2...

I just got my iPhone 4 again after seeing the blackberry lineup. And the first thing I did was upgrade and put on a screen protector. And a case. Lmao.

    Upgrade .

I would upgrade it. I missed the 4.0.1 update and accidently put 4.0.2 on my iPhone 4. So when 4.1 came out I upgraded immediately. I love the HDR photos addition and Game Center is actually fun!

The Dev-Team has said they will not mess with 4.0.2 as there was nothing added except to stop the pdf exploit. So 4.1 is what they have been working on I believe so might as well upgrade and wait!
