I was running 4.0.2 and I had to do the RESTORE... the update failed and I had to restore the phone using iOS 4.1... and then set the iPhone up again... so Rene's comment is not totally correct... #justsaying

from what i know there will never be a jailbreak for 4.0.2 so you may as well update as the b=next JB will/should be for 4.1
