hmmmmmmm when my customers send me excel files and i open it via the mail application already installed onto the iphone..it allows me to view it and this was on my 3g.... i would assume its the same of word documents but i haven't had the need to open one as of yet.......

if you have the mail app set up, you can send a word document via attachment, to that email addy and then go through that program and open it up to see if you can view it?

Just download the free Dropbox app. It will allow you to view a number of different file types (including MS Word docs) on your phone. To check out how it works, visit Dropbox - Home - Online backup, file sync and sharing made easy..
