Wifi and YouTube

I've noticed a problem on my iPhone 4 that seems to be getting worse. When I try to watch YouTube videos over wifi they're either very slow to load or just stop loading altogether. On 3G the videos load very quickly. It's frustrating because I like watching the videos in better quality, but it's gotten so bad that I have to tuen it off and watch them on 3G. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Is this happening with every Wifi network that you're trying to use?

Are you watching utube videos from the native app?

Their mobile web site is much better and faster than the native app on the iPhone.

It happens with every network and it seems to work a little better from the native app compared to embedded videos, but the problem is there either way.

Then there is something wrong with your phone. Since using the webapp instead of the native app I have noticed a vast improvement of my YouTube experience.

Try a soft restart. If that doesn't work then try a restore from backup. If it still does not work restore as new and if that even does not work take the phone in

Don't think that anything will help. I have the same problem with my iPhone 4. I also had that issue with my iPhone 3G and 3GS

Yeah I'm having the same issue... Worked great before I had to get a replacement phone and now it doesn't work at all...

I even just tried the web app and still no go... I guess it's time for a soft restart
