Does Apple currently sell iPhone 4 without an ATT contract?

Hi everybody,

I'm wondering if Apple does sell iPhone 4 without a contract. I dont wanna upgrade my contract with ATT for another 2 years. Any ideas?

But if you stick an AT&T SIM in the phone and they find out that you are using any smart phone on their network (and they will, sooner or later), they will add the data plan.

Also, iPhones sold in the US are SIM-locked to AT&T so that could be another issue... where do you plan on using the phone?
