Is it possible to sync/save ios4 folders?

I am transferring everything from my 3GS to my iPhone 4 and I am wondering if there is any way to sync or save the folders that i created so that I can sync it with my new iPhone?

This assumes you were using iOS4 with your 3GS. If so, just back it up, plug in the i4 and voila, it should retain all settings.

I transferred everything from my 3G to my iP4. My folders were retained, but, there were some apps that made it onto the phone, just not in their folders. I still had all my info, just had to spend a little time rearranging things.
