When using Facetime the other party can see me but can not hear me. If I plug in a headset they can hear me perfect. I can see and hear them perfect with or without headset. It's like the mic doesn't turn on unless a headset is plugged in.

Is there a way to fix this or do I need to go to Apple for replacement?

A couple of others reported that when they shot video that there was no audio except for hissing. Have you done any videos by chance? I am not sure if they had tried to do FaceTime or not.

What about when on the phone anyone saying they can't hear you?

You got a defective one! You'll need to bring it in. Did you get it from an Apple Store?

There is one thing you could try if you are willing. Do a restore and see if that doesn't fix it. If not, then of course you'll have no choice as to what to do from there. It maybe worth a shot to save you from having to go through an exchange.

    No ATT store.

Already restore before I posted. Will the apple store have any in stock and be willing to replace it?
