Wow, this blows my mind. Someone has their factory unlocked iPhone 4 on eBay and after 33 bids, its up to $2000!

Link: Apple iPhone 4 Black 32 GB FACTORY UNLOCKED BNIB - eBay (item 150459976950 end time Jun-25-10 05:48:08 PDT)

Isn't the factory unlock only a $800 phone???

Also, this begs the question. How much does someone make off of their iPhone 4 if they sell it? I guess the only way to come out on top is to already have a phone and dataplan and keep it and only get the iPhone because you can... ? Otherwise, it does not sound like paying for a data plan each month will make it worth while.

Thoughts?

(PS - for the guy that thought I owned Business Insider because I posted a link to an article about the phone, THIS IS NOT MY PHONE. Mine is in front of me on its dock.)

My guess is some immature busybody got torqued that someone was selling an iphone4 on ebay and bid it up with no intention of paying.

But this i4 is factory unlocked. This means
no new firmware will ever lock it. You never
have to wait for the dev team to come out
with an unlock; only a jailbreak.

I wonder how much the locked ones cost,
sealed. I have one I want to sell. If I
could get $1000 for it, I'd be happy.
