iPhone 4 front glass

iPhone 4 front glass problem - with pictures

I was look at my phone, and the front glass on the upper left corner seems to be pulled away from the steel band a little bit. Looking at it sideways, I can see a little light coming through.

Anyone else see that? I will have to call Apple about that.

There's bound to be dome with defects. Making that many do quickly! I'd take it to Apple and get an exchange.

Hmm. That is unfortunate. Another reason I am now glad to wait for it to come to Canada.

I have no Apple store nearby to "take it to". I will have to call them, maybe early next week.

prob be like the cracks on the 3g/3gs... they say its normal...

i've had the 3g for two years, dropped it so many times all corners are scratched/dinged but not one crack. thats not "normal" and i wouldn't accept it as such especially since its literally brand new! like it came today! sort of wtf.

Sorry to hear this ..

I just checked my i4 and it doesn't look like mine is doing that ( glass pulling away from band )..

Yea I would def call / or go to Apple to let them know ...

Bump for any others peeps having this problem ??

Looked mine over with a fine tooth comb, and other than from time to time being able to replicate the signal issue, no yellow spots on the screen, and no glass pulling away.

Can we see a pic? We'd all like to have an example of the problem.

I am not sure it it would be visible in a picture. I can tell because of three things:

1) in the dark, I can see some light between the glass and the steel
2) I can hit my fingernail a little bit under the glass (just barely)
3) when I push a little on the glass in the corner, I feel it move just a bit
