selling 3GS and jailbreak question

The 3GS is currently jailbroken via Spirit. I'm selling my phone and the buyer wants it jailbroken, is there a way to restore it so my info isn't on there and just run spirit again? I figured I could just restore to 3.1.3 and run spirit without doing a back-up or will the buyer have to pop their SIM card in jailbreak on their own? Sorry if this is confusing it's middle of night and exhausted.

You are exactly right. If you restore it and run spirit it will be a fresh iPhone with a cydia icon which signifies it is is jailbroken. Also the sim card has nothing to do with the jailbroken status.

Make sure you restore as a new phone and not from a backup. Restoring from a backup does not remove any of your personal info.
