Hey and thanks for trying to help.
When i download black rain and run it it restarts my ipod ect. but two things go wrong. one is that his face doesnt pop up and another is that it says to connect to itunes. itunes says it needs to restore my ipod because it doesnt reconize it. i have 3.1.2 installed on the ipod and the latest version of itunes. ive been at this for days and still have problems jailbreaking my ipod. can anyone help =S

There's a new jailbreak in town and it's called Spirit.

Spirit is for the new 3.1.3. Blackra1n was for 3.1.2. Both are very reliable.
