    Guys/Gals

How do you think the transfer of contacts between phones will occur when we get the new handset? Will it be as simple as connecting the new handset and restoring from an iTunes backup (as that's where the contacts are stored, I believe)? I want the new iPhone when it comes out, but I don't want to lose my numbers!

How did contacts transfer when users upgraded from 3G to 3GS?

    Thoughts appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Steve

Yep, connect and when you activate it gives you the option to set it up as new or set it up as "Steve's iPhone" which uses the data from the most recent backup. Very simple.

Set your phone up to sync your contacts up with google and never worry about it again any smart phone out there now has the option to use google sync
I've synched my phone up to m.google.com exchange server without a hitch, but it doesn't seem to transfer the contacts off the phone. How do I get it to copy my contacts from the phone to the google account?

    Cheers,
    Steve
