Iphone Battery?

My Iphone takes really long to charge. I am on the battery sign with the red status signifying that I have little to no battery charge. Its been plugged in for 30 minutes already. What do i do?

Do you have it plugged into the wall socket, or a USB on a PC? I say try a wall socket. Maybe the USB (if it's connected that way), might be older, i.e USB 1.0 or something, and thus taking longer...

the usb spec only gives the full amount of power if it can load the driver.

does the iphone show up in itunes on that computer?

alternately, do you have a different cable you can try?

also, how long have you had the phone? it's possible the battery is at the end of it's life

I got it to work guys! thanks for the responses though. I think its the USB that I was using that was probably a 1.0 like the guy above said. thanks though!!
