Iphone Maps

Dear all,

Ever since i updated my iphone 3G to 3.0 update, i noticed that the gps location in Maps are not accurate. The current location shown are off from the actual location. Anyone with the same experience? Appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

installed the latest update. still same problem.

make sure you are outside, GPS will not work inside, it needs to connect to 3 seperate satellites, also have you changed your router?

also, gps only has an accuracy of 300 yards.

it requires a cellular triangulation or wifi triangulation on top of that to get more accurate.

without the gps signal and just cellular or wifi the accuracy tends to be even worse
