I can't connect my iphone 3gs to a security enabled wifi connection. At home if I turn off security I connect great, turn it on, unable to join. I entered the password myself so I know what it is. I tried it a few other locations that require passwords and nope, unable to join, WTF ?

It's probably something real simple I'm not doing, please help.

What kind of security are you using? WEP? WPA? WPA2?

My iPhone won't connect if I use WPA2 but it is ok with WEP or WPA.

I use a WPA2, My Mac does connect. So you think if i change it to a wep it will work ? I really dont need to much security, i just dont want people using my service.

WEP didn't work either, any other ideas ?

Try WPA. Reset your iPhone then try to connect again.

You do realize these two needs generally tend to conflict?

You need good security to be sure people can't use your service.

Both WEP and WPA have been hacked.
