G-mail deleting inbox

Hey i was wondering if other people were having a problem with there Google sync. All the syncing is working probably but my inbox on my gmail account on my iPhone is removing emails and only keeps like the latest 3 emails in there. It seems to happen like once a month and wanted to see if there was any solutions to it or if anybody else was having the same problem? Thanks in advance

There's an option in your gmail account settings on your phone that sets how many days/weeks/months your iPhone inbox displays emails for. By default, it's set to 3 days.
