Missing Pictures and Video when I open the Iphone in "My Computer"

I am so confused. I took about 50 pics and video on a hike yesterday. When I connect my iPhone to my computer, I click on "My Computer" then the Camera icon. All my 1000+ pics show up, except for the majority of the pictures I took yesterday. Only about 8 of the 50 pics show up! What the hell! I look in my camera roll, and they are there. But how the hell are they not being found when I connect to the computer!

I take alot of pics, and I do thins process time and time again, but have never had this problem before. Anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions?

does 1024 photos and videos show up exactly?

Actually, its more like 1400 photos. but Maybe i should try deleting a bunch and see if that works?

I would suggest that you copy them to your computer and set them up to be sync'd over in itunes.

that might help. you could also put the photos on your computer's backup and you wouldn't be able to lose your phone and lose all your photos.

Thanks for the advice!!! I came back from lunch, plugged my phone in, and they were miraculously there!!!
