iphone wi-fi problem

Hi guys,
i am facing some problem with iphone's wifi. i set up my wifi router and internet worked on my iphone fine. after some time tere was a problem and wifi did not work for some reason.
now when i swtich on wifi from iphone it shows my wifi connection and i can select it and load all the setting like IP and stuff, it says connected, but does not show the wifi sign on top and internet does not work. I tried re setting the network settings but still not working. any tips guys?
I would really appreciate your help.

you might try to restore the phone and see if that doesnt help. if it doesnt, you might have a hardware problem in there somewhere and need to talk to apple to see if they can fix you up.
