Using car speakers while charging iPhone

I just noticed something and wonder if it's normal or not.

When I connect iPhone to car's aux outlet I can play ipod music and have great reception. If I try to play music while also charging the phone using a car charger I get degraded sound and a slight hissing noise. If I remove the charger the music is great.

Is this normal? or might it be the quality of the charger?

bad cable somewhere probably. Could be inside the charger or even the car

First thing to check is the charger. Try another one.
