Picture Transfer

Every time I jailbreak my iPhone I need to back up my photos to my desktop. Is there a way to get the "photos taken" from the desk top back into the iPhone "photos taken" spot? I'd rather not set up one more sub folder.

If not, can I change the starting photo number from 0001 to something like 0280 so I can add the new photos to the same back up folder? If so, what if I've already started a new photo library with 0001 and so on?

When I enter the pictures back in to the already taken folder the preview plane on the iPhone is black accept for videos and new pictures. When I take new pictures it places the picture number where the first open spot is, like 0019.

It looks like I don't have the .bth files for preview.

Edit: Chronus looks like a great program, but I've already backed up the photos at a basic level.

What now?

Is there still a way to edit my starting photo taken number?
