How long does it take for your iphone to charge?

I noticed my 3Gs was at 23% so i hooked it up to my laptop and its been about an hour and its at 53%...does this seem normal?

your laptop is going to charge slower than if you plugged it int a wall socket. Lower output.

Mine charges stupid fast, but it is noticeably slower off a laptop. If your laptop isn't plugged in and it's trying to charge the phone from it's own battery reserve expect it to take forever and unless the laptop has a full charge on a good battery at the beginning don't expect to get 100% on your phone.
