To consume the least power do I want to use:
- The built-in Voice Memos app from Apple, which uses clock cycles to compress the incoming audio in MPEG-4 AAC at 64kbps, 44.1kHz.
- A 3rd-party app, like Griffin iTalk, which will save the uncompressed audio in AIFF format at 1411kbps, 44.1kHz.
