forgive me if this question has been asked several times, I'm with AT&T with a G's, what benefits do i get for have it jailbroken? is there any draw backs?

well there are a lot of disadvantages. 80% of Apple's security on the iPhone is lost. Battery life = wow my phone really really sucks on battery life. Your phone will be laggy and yeah.... so advantages would be Skype over 3G : ) texting without exiting an application and yeah check out the forums for more info.
