WinSCP to add photos to iphone

Hey everyone. I am using WinSCP to add some jpegs from my computer to my iphone. When i go into the photos on my iphone, the thumbnails are showing up black. Fortunately. when i click on the black thumbnail the photo shows up. However, i would really like the thumbnails to show up. Any ideas? I tried using a program called easy thumbnails to convert all the photos. I uploaded the jpeg and the .thm file and still no luck. Thanks in advance.
