Can't copy long video taken on 3GS to PC

I took a ~30 minutes (800+MB) video and couldn't copy it my laptop (windows). I went to local Apple Genius bar and an Apple guy tried to copy it to his Mac. No luck. Based on his suggestion, I restored iPhone (lost the video). But still couldn't copy long video. Short ones are fine. I can play the video on iPhone so it is not a bad disk on iPhone.l

Yesterday, Apple replaced my iPhone. I shot a test video this morning. Again I can't copy it to PC.

Am I the only one having the issue? Any trick/tips or is it a general defect on iPhone?

that's a bummer. but i guess my longest video was 1-2 minutes long. nothing like your 30 minute deal. even using the USB vs the Firewire, i would think it should be possible to transfer. it would just take forever. i'm interested to see if there's an answer here.
