Every time I visit the App Store or iTunes I get the sign-in popup window. I tried logging in settings, but that doesn't seem to save it in the system. Does anyone know if there's a way to save the password so that I'm not asked for it all the time?

Thanks in advance.

Nope - it's meant to ask for your password for your own benefit. When you log in it only remembers your user name.

I wish there was an option that you could set up so that it saves it and all you have to do is confirm the purchase .

This isn't entirely correct. I actually posted a thread about this exact problem last week.

The way it is supposed to work is it asks for your password when you hit "buy" and it has worked like that for me for the better part of a year. Then the last week or so it has started prompting me for a password everytime I open the App store (and sometimes, oddly, other programs completely unrelated).

I can't seem to get it to "save" the password anymore
