Applications won't open

My downloaded applications are not opening up. They will flash on the screen, then it immediately goes back to the main screen. This does not happen for any of the applications that came with the phone, only the ones I've downloaded. Anyone know a cure?

I've been having the same problem with some apps as well. I deleted and re-downloaded to fix it.

Yeah I have had issue with this some times , I will sometimes download on my computer then sync if I continue to have an issues .

Problem solved...

After further experimentation, I fixed it. I deleted and then redownloaded one of the applications, and then they all started working again. It was one I have never saved anything on so I don't know if I would have lost anything, but it did the trick.

That happened to me too. Glad to know it's a common problem.

yeah pretty common, that's basically how a program crashes on the Iphone. You could also try restarting your phone if it was working and suddenly started crashing.

I have the same problem with instagram, viber and whatsapp, i deleted all the chats and it didn't work then i restarted my iphone 6 and it also didn't for instagram but it did for viber and whatsapp

The problem is with instagram, whatsapp and viber

After restarting
Whatsapp and viber worked
Instagram did not
I removed instagram and re-installed it
It worked

But why does this happen?
