I got an iPod Nano 4G, and along w/it a Belkin charging set for Christmas '08. The Belkin set includes a wall charging brick, car charger, and a USB cable.

I'm wondering, as the USB connector is the same size, if I can use either of the Belkin chargers for my iPhone 3G S? General consensus among replies on other forums circa 2007 is that the iPhone charges at 5V, so as long as the power output of the charger is the same, I should be fine. (I tried to search these forums but couldn't find the right thread). But, I wanted to get the opinion of the posse here too.

Using the iPod charger would be handy, as I could take one AC charger to work & leave one at home. But I only wanna do this if I'm not at-risk of hosing my iPhone.

    Thanks for the help all!
