One day i turned on my i phone and a note popped up it said "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone". Now when I'm playing games on the iphone theirs no sound and it can't play music out loud, basically the speaker doesn't work at all. The note pops up almost all the time when I turn on the iphone, playing games, and listening to music with and without the headphones.

Any idea what happened to my iphone and how to fix the iphone.
Thanks

(By the way i have the 8GB 2nd generation iphone)

That msg usually appears when you connect your iphone to a device (speakers/or other equip) that wasn't designed specifically for the iphone. It sends your phone into Airplane Mode. Check that setting, see if its toggled on. Not sure if that will fix it seeing as Ive never seen that msg pop up under any other circumstance.

If you're still under warrantee bring it into the Apple store because that is for sure a hardware defect.
Try restoring first though.
