Delete Contacts on phone

How do I delete them? I want to start fresh and delete all my contacts without deleting all the programs. Is there a way?

How are the entered in the iPhone? If you use a service to connect, then all you need to do is disable the account.

If entered manually, then there is no mass delete option.

Entering them manually is the same as syncing directly from the desktop
