Upgraded to 3.0, now apps don't show up on iPhones

My one year old iPhone just had it's firmware upgraded. Now the 20 third party apps don't show up on the phones first screen so I could run the apps. They show up under settings, and they show up thru iTunes from my computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled them. No differenence. Is there some setting that is restricting them from being displayed on the first screen of the iPhone? Thanks for any help.

Can you try a restore and then setup as new phone? Would that help?

When plugged into iTunes. What do you have selected under the apps tab?
