You need to Jailbreak as mentioned and download lockinfo from cydia.

italianangel - that's one of the benefits of jailbreaking.

Not that I would discourage anyone from jailbreaking, but you can do that with a non-jailbroken iPhone by selecting Use As Wallpaper from a photo.
