3GS dead pixel?

I got my 3gs shortly after they came out. I noticed a dead pixel today.. I know it's not a big deal but it's bothering me.

Would apple replace it? Anyone else bothered by this?

Yes, they'll replace it. I too had a dead pixel and it drove me nuts.

I bought it from apple.com. Should I contact them about it or just swing by an apple store?

You can just swing by, but it's better for you and the store if you make an appointment. If they have a full schedule when you swing by, it'll probably be a long time before they can squeeze you in.

I actually exchanged my phone on a busy day. I asked if I should make I needed to make an appt and come back, but the friendly employee said no and then I was out of there in like 20 mins....

But if you can I agree 100% with llofte that you should make an appt b/c it will make it easier on everyone.
