Google Sync Help

im trying to sync my iphone contacts with my gmail contacts but cant get it to work. how do i get my iphone contacts or my address book from my imac to my gmail? or do i have to add each contact one by one. im looking for dummy proof instructions to help me

On your Mac, if you go to the Address Book preferences, there should be an option in there that says sync with Google. If I remember correctly, you should just need to put in your GMail username and password.

did that. did not work

Dunno if it needs to be different on a Mac (I don't know why it would), but on my pc I got my contacts to Google in the first place by just exporting my contacts as a CSV file and then importing them into Google. Directions are here.

got the sync to work but now i have two of all of my contacts on my iphone man im a tool how do i fix this

Unfortunately, there is no simple solution. Just check the duplicate contacts and click Delete.
