trying to sync Outlook emails (& folders?) with new 3GS

cant' get iTunes or MobileMe to sync Outlook emails and folders...

I just got my mother a 3GS and mine is on the way. We are both new to IPhones and I am TRYING to sync her Outlook with it. All apps are updated, and all sync worked ok with iTunes EXCEPT the emails. Only email that were still on the server synced, none from her Outlook. I couldn't find anywhere to remedy this. So I signed up for MobileMe hoping that would help. Argh, no difference. Please help.

Go to iTunes > Devices > your iPhone > Info > Mail Accounts and select Sync Selected Mail Accounts with Outlook and choose the accounts to sync with and see if that helps.
