I was wondering if anybody else was seeing there iPhones getting hot after 3.0.

When mine gets to hot the screen gets jittery, like not ending calls and such. Usually when I've just took it off charge.

Are there any iPhones out there heating up?

There have been some report on the web about iphones overheating. I have not seen it on my 3G or 3GS. The 3GS gets heavy usage everyday.

that same question is popping up a lot here on the forums as well. wonder if 3.0 is causing more stress on the hardware of the iPhone causing it to overheat? i'll leave it to the experts to address this issue.

It's not really bothering me enough to restore. 3.0 with a JB has been a pain in my rear. I've had to restore already a couple of times. I was just wondering if anybody else was seeing the same thing.

I googled it, apparently I'm not the only one. Figure I'll wait for 3.0.1 and restore then.

Yet another example of the risks when you JB. Hope you get it figured out. As for my phone I have not had the problem of overheating. Bit then Gain I'm not jailbroken.

My wife just ran my fully charged 3G/3.0 dry with none stop gaming, texting and iPod No problems experienced. I will keep my fingers crossed since it's my backup If the 3GS have a problem.
