    Hi to all, new to forum and new iphone user here!

    How do i delete all contacts in iphone?

    Salesman synced contacts at store from my palm wm.treo, then when i snynced to computer i must of checked wrong thing because i added duplicate numbers for each contact. So im guessing i want to start over just not sure how?

    Is there a way to get my contacts to show in groups like i have organized
    in outlook? Family, business, etc. Ive got an awfull lot of numbers in there!

    Go to contacts>Find a contact you wanna delete>Edit>Go to button>Big Red Delete

    Connect to iTunes>Info>Uncheck sync contacts.

    Hi Tramain,
    Tried that but all contacts with dulicates are still there, also tried
    putting checkmark back?

    any other ideas.

    Also tried erase all content and settings in reset folder,
    reinstalled as new phone and duplicates are back?

    I am sorry I never saw the second question. Go to setting>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>And do you have a exchange setup?

    you have two options

    if they're sync'd over the air you delete the sync source, i.e. undo the checkbox

    if it's a local sync to the desktop you have to delete them 1 by 1. if you setup the phone as a new phone you had to of sync'd them back for them to reappear.
