My iPhone 3g feels especially sluggish lately. It's not something I can put my finger on. It just feels like everything takes a bit longer than it should. Does anyone have any tips to speed it up? I have heard restoring helps - can anyone confirm that? How about deleting some of your apps? I know in windows that things speed up alot if you delete program or reformat your drive.

    Thanks, Pinny

What areas of the phone are you seeing lag in? Are you running a jailbroken firmware?

I'm not jailbroken. The main area I see lag is in switching between apps. I especially feel that closing apps takes alot longer than it used to.

A restore as new iPhone should help a lot, but then you lose all your settings and stuff so might not be wroth the trade off.
