Not happy with 3g with v3.0

Guys how do i get my iphone software back to v2.2.1?
I have done a restore on itunes but it only restored a clean ver of 3.0.
3.0 sucks.....so many bugs..very slow....can't connect to itune or app store over 3g...etc

I think you cant go back, because the baseband was updated. But I'm not sure... google it further.

I would try a complete erase and restore. You got some strange problems that have nothing to do with the 3.0 update.

Wow that's weird I upgraded mine yesterday and I'm having no problems no bugs speed is the same to me maybe alittle faster and everything works like normal.

are most of these problems being caused by jailbroken iphones? my wife and friend both have one as well as mine, and they are all running 3.0 just great! it seems like most of the problems are stemming from jailbroken phones, or ones that were using an earlier version of 3.0.

I wonder if you installed a older version of itunes and tried to restore would it work. I say this because they said you need itunes 8.2 to get 3.0 so the older version would get 3.0. Just a thought.

I'm not having an trouble on 3G S but on my iPod it seems to be making things slower and some apps bug out.

On the 1st gen phone (Not Jailbroken) I had a few issues with the upgrade. But I resestored it from a back up and it ran smooth as silk. Now on my 3GS the software is running smooth as really fast silk! The 3.0 software has been solid!
