Weather/Stocks issue (3GS)

So I upgraded from my 2G to the 3GS today. Everything works great, except, the native weather and stocks apps can't seem to download data. The apps launch fine and don't actually freeze they just show "updating ...." or "retrieving chart". Doesn't matter if I'm on edge, 3G or WiFi. I'm within the US and restored my phone from my old backup. (3.0 software)

yeah i just tried to check mine and both of them aren't loading either im also in the US

The stocks app has gotten REAL slow on os 3.0.
The free Bloomberg app is much faster.

The problem seems to be the retrieval of Details, Chart and News data in the native Stock app. It takes forever. And it does this for each stock you add to the list.

Its basically unusable.

Switch to the Bloomberg app.
