Usage stat brought over from 3G to 3GS

I moved over to a 3GS unit today from a 3G.

When I restored the 3GS in iTunes from the last backup taken for the 3G, it moved over the Lifetime Call Time from the 3G to the 3GS.

So even though I've never even made a call on the 3GS, it now shows 6+ hours of use.

Oh well not really going to hurt anything.

Umm ... Perhaps because you CAN'T reset the LIFETIME stats on the phone.

Oversight for sure

Kinda negates the lifetime counter because I don't see how they can correct it and keep it honest at the same time...like people wanting to put their usage down.

In the end know ones cares when they are buying or selling their iPhone. To correct this I would say they allow the user to reset the lifetime counter...due thar who cares now.
