    I didn't upgrade to 3.0 yet, but Edge isn't working on my iPhone anymore. since this morning. At first, the Edge icon wouldn't even show, now it is showing, but it's not transferring any data. I did order a 3G S, maybe AT&T killed the Edge on my plan in order to get ready for my activation of the new phone? I'm already power cycled the phone multiple times, and popped the sim card out. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I don't know an answer for this for you, but I do know that you're not the only one. My brother has a first gen iphone and pre-ordered a 3GS. Since then, his edge doesn't work at all. Also, his voicemail doesn't work either. He is just going to wait until tomorrow to see if he needs to call AT&T. Good luck!

    It's working again, just being weird now, sometimes it works, sometimes it won't. I guess AT&T's system is just going crazy right now...
